IN VIDEO | The Exsultet, also called the Easter Proclamation, is a hymn sung during the Easter Vigil, just after the Paschal candle is lit. It invites heaven and earth to rejoice in Christ’s rising. Rooted in ancient tradition, its words praise the victory of light over darkness and call the Church to celebrate the mystery of salvation.
